The Transit Zone Latino Jazz Band music is a journey from traditional to modern. The overall aesthetic of the show relies on the combination of the exchanges between contemporary jazz and Latino music, between binary and ternary music, between instrumental and sung jazz, between formality and informality, between written and improvisation. The poetic vision and the style of the creator give a unity and coherence to this mixture. This creation is also the tell-tale sign of the vitality of french jazz, of its traditional ability to integrate outside contributions.
